Investing.com– Shares of cloud computing firm Oracle (NYSE:) rose sharply on Tuesday, while those of Nvidia (NASDAQ:) and Microsoft (NASDAQ:) also advanced after the companies entered a $500 billion artificial intelligence venture with OpenAI.
Oracle jumped 7.2% during Tuesday’s session, and was up 4.1% at $179.75 in aftermarket trade. Nvidia rose 1.4% to $142.76 after the bell, while Microsoft rose around 1% to $433.20.
