Oracle laid off nearly 30,000 employees earlier this year. The company sent an email at 6 a.m. to inform affected employees. Days later, a former Oracle employee shared a LinkedIn post claiming that the job cuts “followed an algorithm of senior individual employees and middle managers.” The post has now gone viral on the internet. The post was shared by Nina Lewis. According to her LinkedIn profile, she worked as a security alert manager at Oracle for more than 33 years. Nina was among the many employees Oracle laid off. She said the news came as a shock and her message touched many others who were also affected.
