Oracle has announced that it needs to raise $45 billion to $50 billion in cash to fund the expansion of its cloud infrastructure and plans to raise that money

Big Red issued one on Sunday notice Das explains that it is raising money “to build additional capacity to meet the contracted needs of our largest Oracle Cloud Infrastructure customers, including AMD, Meta, NVIDIA, OpenAI, TikTok, xAI and others.”

The announcement said Oracle “expects” to generate gross revenue of $45 billion to $50 billion in calendar year 2026 alone through “a balanced combination of debt and equity financing.”

Oracle wants to use three tactics to get the billions it needs.
