Oracle Health has reportedly left several senior executives in recent months. That comes as Oracle’s health records division, created from the company’s $28 billion acquisition of Cerner Corp in 2022, continues to lose customers and works to modernize its software. The departures include Executive Vice President Sanga Viswanathan and Senior Vice President Suhas Uliyar, two of the department’s most senior product and engineering leaders, Bloomberg reports. The report quoted people familiar with the matter as saying some employees had been told of departures in the past week. Oracle Health has not yet officially announced the exits.The healthcare unit was a centerpiece of Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison’s ambitions at the time of the Cerner deal. Ellison said she would help “fix a lot of the industry’s problems” by updating outdated systems and creating a growth engine for the company.
