Oracle Corp. equips its Fusion applications with agentic artificial intelligence and aims to shift operational software from a supporting role to the direct execution of business processes.
The company today introduced Fusion Agentic Applications, a suite of AI-powered applications embedded in its Oracle Fusion Cloud suite. They are designed to reason, make decisions, and take action in finance, human resources, supply chain, and customer experience workflows.
The announcement reflects a broader shift in enterprise software as vendors seek to evolve from systems of record to systems of execution. Oracle executives said the move builds on previous investments in co-pilots and AI assistants but represents a more fundamental architectural change.
