Oracle EBS hack: Only four corporate giants are still silent about the possible effects

Several global giants listed as victims of the recent hacking campaign targeting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) customers have remained quiet about the impact of the cybersecurity incident.

The ransomware and extortion group Cl0p has claimed responsibility for this EBS hacking campaignZero-day vulnerabilities were exploited to access data stored by organizations in Oracle’s business management software. The compromised data was then used for blackmail.

While Cl0p serves as a publicly available extortion brand for the campaign, the cybersecurity community believes that the operation may have been driven by a group of threat actors, most notably FIN11.

The hackers have listed more than 100 suspected victims of the Oracle EBS campaign on the Cl0p leak website, including organizations from sectors such as technology, telecommunications, software, heavy industry, manufacturing, engineering, retail, consumer products, energy, utilities, media, finance and…
