Oracle Cloud was selected as the next platform for Ohio University’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for human resources and finance following an extensive evaluation process. This system will replace the Oracle E-Business Suite, which has been in use for more than 25 years.
Oracle Cloud was selected for the strength of its data, analytics and reporting capabilities, which are critical to improving insights and supporting data-driven decision making across the institution. Equally important, Oracle’s product roadmap, continued investment and strong position in the broader market provide confidence that the platform will mature in a manner that meets OHIO’s long-term needs.
Additionally, this selection positions OHIO to enhance digital experiences while containing the long-term costs associated with maintaining our current environment.
