Related digital, Blackstone, oracle, OpenAIand Walbridge recently celebrated the construction of The Barn, a multi-billion dollar Stargate data center campus under construction in Saline Township that represents the largest single economic investment in Michigan history.
All campus buildings are currently under construction, with the first of three 550,000-square-foot, single-story data center buildings nearing completion. Financing for the project includes equity from Related Digital, Blackstone affiliated funds, and fixed-rate, long-term debt financing anchored by funds and accounts managed by PIMCO. During construction, the project will create more than 2,500 jobs.
