Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) is as naive today as he was during the Cold War. Rarely, if ever, has the socialist encountered an enemy of the United States that he does not believe he can work with to advance his agenda. The same impulse that led Sanders to align himself with the Soviets, the Sandinistas and Fidel Castro in the 1980s was on display again at the Capitol on Wednesday night, when he invited two Chinese academics to urge Americans to slow down our pursuit of artificial intelligence.
