LAGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — One person was left seriously injured at the Google Data Center construction site while working on the roof of the structure around 2:47 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026.

The LaGrange Fire Department responded to a reported injury of one of the workers who was on the roof of the construction site located at 411 Pegasus Parkway.

Once first responders arrived on the scene, they discovered the individual had sustained injuries while working roughly 50 feet above ground level. The LaGrange Fire Department says the elevated location and complications of the rescue resulted in additional resources being requested including Tower 31, an 85-foot aerial platform.

According to first responders, five personnel, along with the Troup County AMR and Google Data Center’s on-site response team, provided immediate medical care, stabilizing the patient injured on the roof.
