Nvidia RTX 60 Series Release Date: Top Leaker Says 2028

Nvidia’s most-followed hardware leaker just moved the goalposts on next-generation gaming GPUs again, and this time he’s not alone. On September 21, 2026, the leaker known as Kopite7kimi posted that the consumer version of Nvidia’s Rubin architecture, internally tracked as GR20x, will not ship until 2028. Tom’s Hardware reported the claim the same day, framing it as confirmation that gaming has taken a back seat while Nvidia funnels capacity toward data-center products. The report matters less because it’s new information and more because of who is saying it: Kopite7kimi is the same source who, back in January, still expected RTX 60 cards in the second half of 2027. His own estimate has now slipped a full year.
