Nvidia, a U.S. chipmaker, saw a 4% increase in its shares on Tuesday, reaching a market value of approximately $3.3 trillion. This surge in stock price has catapulted Nvidia to become the world’s most expensive company, surpassing giants like Microsoft Corp. and Apple Inc.

According to reports from Bloomberg and Ukrinform, Nvidia’s co-founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, has seen a substantial increase in his wealth, making him one of the wealthiest individuals globally. Since the start of the year, his fortune has grown by over $70 billion to a total of $115 billion, placing him 12th on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Nvidia’s success is largely attributed to its dominance in the AI technology market, where its chips play a crucial role in powering AI applications. The high demand for Nvidia’s H100 accelerator has contributed to a sales increase of more than 125% in the past year.

The company’s market value reached a historic high on June 6, surpassing $3 trillion and outpacing even Apple’s valuation. Nvidia’s position as a leader in AI technology has positioned it as a top player in the industry, driving its impressive financial performance and market success.
