The world’s most valuable company, tech giant Nvidia, reported record revenue of $81.6 billion ($114.17 billion) in its first-quarter results, up 85 percent from the same period last year.
However, second-quarter revenue forecast left investors unimpressed, despite beating Wall Street’s expectations by billions.
June sales are forecast to be $91 billion, compared to estimates of $86.84 billion.
The company is headquartered in California and has a market capitalization of $5.4 trillion.
“The expansion of AI factories – the largest infrastructure expansion in human history – is progressing at an extraordinary pace,” Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said in a statement.
“Agentic AI has arrived, doing productive work, creating real value and scaling quickly across companies and industries.“
