Nvidia releases new Descendant driver featuring DLSS 3.5 and other upgrades

Nvidia has released a game-ready update for The First Descendant, confirming that all main features will be available from launch day. The update includes technologies such as super resolution, frame generation, ray reconstruction, and Reflex. Even if you have the best Nvidia graphics card, you can benefit from these features.

The game-ready driver can be downloaded through GeForce Experience or the Nvidia app. Both AMD and Intel have released graphics drivers with support for The First Descendant as well. These technologies are especially important for 4K gaming, as The First Descendant runs on Unreal Engine 5 and requires upscaling for native 4K performance.

Nexon has ensured that The First Descendant is optimized for great performance across different graphics cards, although some features are limited to specific RTX GPU generations. Preload and play times for the game can be found in a handy guide, along with a look at the system requirements to ensure your gaming device is ready.
