NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 is the leading upscaling technology from Team Green, while FSR 4.1 remains the flagship upscaler by Team Red. We have seen how incredibly powerful these upscaling technologies are in terms of visual quality. Unlike previous versions, both offer the best possible visuals through better sharpening, reduction of noise, and better motion clarity.
However, it can be hard to determine which offers the best quality unless a side-by-side comparison is conducted. This is what Computer Base previously did, where the DLSS 4.5 won easily. Once again, the new testing allowed gamers to take a look at the gameplay where FSR 4.0, FSR 4.1, and DLSS 4.5 clips were adjusted side by side. Users were given the option to compare the results in split-screen mode, and by offering seven different triple-A titles, they were allowed to vote for the best image quality scene.
After registering the inputs of users in games that included titles like Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Anno 117: Pax Romana, Arc Raiders, Resident Evil Requiem, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and The Last of US Part 1, the final results were shared….
