Nutanix gets Dell PowerStore support

Dell’s PowerStore, one of the world’s most popular file and block storage arrays, is now available for the Nutanix Cloud Platform, with Dell claiming it has the broadest infrastructure portfolio available for Nutanix environments.

PowerStore is Dell’s file and block storage product line, being a dual-controller storage array supporting 4-way clustering. It has a unified scale-up and scale-out architecture supporting block, file, virtual machines and container workloads. This collaboration makes PowerStore the second Dell storage platform to integrate with Nutanix, following PowerFlex, which was the first external storage supported and integrated with the Nutanix Cloud Platform. Dell now offers the broadest infrastructure portfolio available for Nutanix environments.

Dell and Nutanix have a been partnering for a long time and getting more and more closer. An updated partnership deal signed in June 2024 was followed by Dell announcing PowerFlex support for Nutanix AHV as external storage in August that year.
