Nutanix has appointed Faiz Shakir to Vice President, Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).
In his expanded new role, Shakir will lead Nutanix’s regional strategy, go-to-market execution, partner ecosystem, and customer expansion across the APJ region.
Shakir has been associated with Nutanix for a decade.
“Faiz’s 10-year journey, rising from our first sales hire in India to leading our regional business, reflects his deep understanding of enterprise customer priorities and market dynamics,” said Andrew Brinded, Chief Revenue Officer, Nutanix. “His proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams makes him uniquely suited to drive our next phase of growth across Asia Pacific and Japan as AI reshapes enterprise IT.”
