NSW Police set up AI center

The NSW Police Force is in the early stages of establishing an artificial intelligence center that will oversee all aspects of the technology’s rollout.

The centre, to be based in Parramatta and part of the Armed Forces Technology and Communications Services Command, is hiring its first manager.

According to the job description, the manager has a broad scope of responsibilities, ranging from internal definition and enforcement of governance and risk thresholds to supplier oversight.
