Another 24 percent say AI is handling their rostering, and 38 percent believe the risks of AI outweigh the benefits.
The vast majority of respondents – 69 percent – support stricter rules.
Both the federal and state governments of NSW are trying to enforce this.
Under new powers already passed by the lower house of the NSW Parliament, unions can demand access to a company’s AI software.
“You have the right to ask a court to decide if it is not provided by the employer,” NSW Premier Chris Minns said in Parliament today.
