The Malinauskas government will deliver a new program for small and family businesses to help demystify artificial intelligence (AI) and help them use it to benefit their businesses.
The program, which will open for enrollment in early 2026, will provide small and family businesses with practical, personalized support to help them understand, plan and apply AI tools in their operations.
It was developed in response to feedback from small businesses who said they had a keen interest in AI and digital technologies, but lacked the ability and confidence to use AI tools safely and effectively.
The Malinauskas government is now looking for partners to implement the program. Delivery partners can access up to $370,000 in funding over 18 months from 2025 to 2027 to design and implement the program.
