Neo4j has launched HopperGraph, an interactive artificial intelligence-based tool that analyzes online fan theories to predict possible outcomes for the upcoming final season of the Stranger Things television series.

Data-driven analysis

The system relies on a dataset of 150,000 Reddit posts, representing 234,000 nodes and 1.5 million relationships. By evaluating and structuring this information, HopperGraph identifies thematic patterns and connections between popular predictions, characters, and narrative threads throughout the show’s history. This approach allows an assessment of which fan communities have shown the most accurate predictions in previous seasons.
