NetEase pushed MuMu Player 6.0 live on July 9, 2026, adding Android 15 support to the Windows emulator that dominates PC mobile gaming searches. Two very different tools sit on the other side of the comparison: Waydroid, a Linux container that runs Android with near-native GPU access, and Redroid, a Docker-based “Android in Cloud” project used to power cloud gaming farms and automated test rigs. All three do the same basic job — run Android apps and games away from a phone — but they get there through completely different architectures, and that difference shows up directly in frame rates, RAM use, and how much control you get over the system underneath.
