Microsoft unveils new AI tools to transform business processes

Microsoft unveiled new tools and services at its Ignite conference designed to simplify the creation, deployment and management of artificial intelligence. The company introduced updates to Microsoft 365 Copilot as well as new features in Work IQ, Foundry IQ, Fabric IQ and a consolidated management platform called Microsoft Agent 365.

Microsoft is positioning AI as an essential layer within its software suite and intends to integrate AI from the ground up rather than attach it to existing products. Updates to Microsoft 365 Copilot and the underlying Work IQ intelligence layer allow users to connect their workflow data, habits, and relationships to Copilot. This enables more personalized recommendations and insights that reflect how individual and group work is actually carried out within an organization.
