Microsoft to break ground on Granger data center campus soon

GRANGER, Ind. (WNDU) – Microsoft plans to break ground next month on a data center campus in Granger, according to St. Joseph County Councilmember Dan Schaetzle.

Schaetzle made the comments during an interview on Inside INdiana Business Radio. He said the campus will include six buildings and employ about 300 people.

St. Joseph County Director of Economic Development Bill Schalliol said the investment will likely exceed $1 billion.

Schaetzle also said Microsoft is not seeking any tax abatements for the project.
