We are taking a look at stocks today, pausing from their record-breaking rally. This comes as oil moves back again above $100 a barrel. Brent Crude currently trading at that price as there’s a lot of uncertainty in the straight of Hormuz as that naval blockade remains in place by the US and Iran refusing to negotiate while that blockade remains in place, although President Trump did extend the ceasefire between the two nations.

Meanwhile, I want to take a look at Microsoft shares. The company, according to Bloomberg, has reportedly offered personnel buyouts. Now, this kind of comes as tech companies have been looking to pair back on their head count and so they’re offering employees who have served either age 70 plus or their age plus their total years served, uh buyouts uh that amounts to about 7% of the company.
