Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) has relaunched its Copilot AI product, shifting the platform’s focus away from personal use and toward workplace and enterprise applications.
The reboot combines previously scattered AI tools into one unified platform, giving business users a single destination for a range of AI-powered tasks.
Users will be able to chat with Copilot, run long-term autonomous projects through an autopilot feature, and handle coding and project-building through a dedicated code option.
Yahoo Finance Technology Editor Dan Howley described the move as Microsoft’s effort to “situate everything in one individual platform,” consolidating offerings that were previously spread across disparate apps.
The platform will also allow users to launch Word documents and Excel spreadsheets directly, positioning Copilot as something close to a central hub for enterprise work.
