Microsoft drops Nscale's Loughton AI data center over interconnection delay

UK Power Networks reportedly told Nscale the Essex site would not get sufficient power until the early to mid-2030s. Microsoft was the 50 MW project’s only announced customer, and Nscale filed for a US IPO last month.
