Microsoft Copilot unites GPT and Claude for better research

Microsoft has upgraded its Microsoft 365 Copilot Researcher tool with a multi-model setup that uses OpenAI’s GPT to draft responses and Anthropic’s Claude to refine them. The new Critique feature boosts accuracy, completeness, and objectivity, scoring higher than several rival AI research models in benchmarks. Early access is available through the Frontier program, alongside a Model Council option that presents results from different AI models in parallel.
