Microsoft CEO Nadella forms new AI group to build and run apps for customers

• Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella told employees on Monday that former Lacework CEO Jay Parikh will lead a new group called CoreAI – Platform and Tools.
• The mission is “to build the end-to-end Copilot & AI stack for both our first-party and third-party customers to build and run AI apps and agents,” Nadella wrote.
• The announcement comes 10 months after Microsoft hired DeepMind cofounder Mustafa Suleyman to run Copilot AI initiatives, reporting into Nadella.
