Microsoft announces Fabric advances for data in Copilot, agents, and apps

Microsoft announced a range of updates related to AI for Fabric this week as the company spoke to the community at the European Microsoft Fabric + SQL Community Conference. Fabric IQ in Microsoft Copilot Chat and Cowork is now generally available. It allows users to ask business questions and receive answers grounded in governed Power BI data. Cowork can then use those results in its work. The team plans to integrate Fabric IQ with Copilot’s Code experience, too.
