Facebook-parent company Meta announced on Monday (October ) that it plans to raise up to $95 billion in its largest-ever equity fundraising effort, seeking fresh capital to fuel its massive artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure expansion without diluting CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s voting control. The capital plan consists of two separate equity moves. The first is that the company has rolled out public offerings valued at roughly $35 billion in common and preferred stock, and second, it intends to establish a separate at-the-market share sale program worth up to $60 billion.Meta said the larger, $60 billion program will be deployed after its newly created non-voting Class C shares commence public trading—expected in the first quarter of 2027. Specific timelines and transaction terms for that phase have not yet been finalized.
