Meta enters into new partnerships to collect data for AI

With fewer people posting original content on Facebook and Instagram, this means that one of Meta’s key market advantages is disappearing, because without users generating more data and insights, Meta cannot use this information to power its ever-growing AI systems, which could ultimately result in Meta losing out to other AI projects.

This is why Reddit has become so popular among AI projects, as Reddit discussions revolve around questions and answers directly related to using AI chatbots. xAI brings conversation insights from X, and Meta has been able to reproduce this to some extent via threads.

But what meta really needs is more everyday conversations, more interaction history, more insight into the questions people ask and the answers they prefer.
