Large language models have become a standard part of the business landscape, and it is now routine for new ones to come to market with billions more parameters and other innovative features. But there are AI experts who believe that LLMs, regardless of scale, can only go so far in solving real-world problems. That’s the context for it the brand new PAN “world model” – which includes an LLM and other clever advances – has just been published by the Institute of Foundation Models at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
