At the 2026 NAB Show, Calrec Audio is leaning into flexibility and choice as live sports production continues its shift toward hybrid and distributed workflows. On the floor of the Central Hall, we caught up with Managing Director Sid Stanley to outline the company’s approach to supporting broadcasters through ongoing industry transformation, emphasizing close collaboration with sports clients as they adopt virtualized environments at their own pace. From Tier 3 productions to top-tier broadcasts, Calrec is focused on delivering scalable solutions that balance innovation with reliability.

Director of Product Management Henry Goodman also highlighted the U.S. debut of the Argo M—an IP-native console designed for agility in flypacks and smaller production environments—alongside continued expansion of the ImPulseV virtual audio engine. Now deployable across cloud and COTS hardware, ImPulseV enables flexible resource sharing and remote production via True Control 2.0, allowing operators to scale workflows as needed. Together, the technologies on display reinforce Calrec’s commitment to a future where hardware, virtual, and hybrid systems work seamlessly to power the next generation of live sports audio.
