LG has unveiled a home robot that can cook, clean and do household chores using advanced physical AI. As part of LG’s Zero Labor Home vision, the humanoid on wheels has dexterous hands and visual learning to automate daily household tasks.
LG Electronics has officially announced CLOiD, its new home robot that will debut at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Designed specifically for household tasks such as cooking or laundry, CLOiD is capable of interacting with and controlling devices within LG’s ThinQ smart home ecosystem.
During LG’s CES press conference, the housekeeper was shown moving through simulated home environments while learning from her owners’ lifestyle to run the household on her behalf. Examples included checking the fridge for ingredients, communicating with the owner via an app, and folding laundry. The company also presents tasks such as fetching milk from the fridge or preparing a freshly baked cake.
