Battery storage and cooling systems qualify for Nvidia’s AI infrastructure program
LG Electronics and LG Energy Solution have joined Nvidia’s newly launched DSX Ready program with cooling solutions and battery storage, respectively, strengthening the LG affiliates’ foothold in the global AI data center market.
The two companies said Tuesday that LG Energy Solution’s JF2 AC Link qualified in the battery energy storage system category, making it the only Korean battery maker in the program’s initial lineup. Other qualified providers include Tesla and Hitachi Energy.
Nvidia introduced DSX Ready as a qualification program for partner products and solutions that meet the requirements of its DSX AI factory reference designs. The program initially covers power and cooling infrastructure, two areas that are becoming increasingly critical as AI data centers grow larger and more power-intensive.
LG Energy Solution’s JF2 AC Link uses lithium iron phosphate batteries and is designed to offer high energy efficiency and a long service life. Its modular design reduces construction time and allows capacity to be added as data centers expand.
