Lenovo has announced a portfolio of solutions and services aimed at modernizing enterprise virtualization infrastructure, including the Lenovo ThinkAgile VX850 V4 hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) system, expanded Lenovo Express Solutions, and three-tier Lenovo Infrastructure Deployment Services. Lenovo also officially lists the ThinkAgile VX850 V4 as a platform for virtualization, in-memory databases, analytics, enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads.
The Lenovo ThinkAgile VX850 V4 is an HCI solution optimized for virtualized environments and demanding in-memory workloads. According to Lenovo, it is designed to allow customers to run current business-critical applications while preparing for future workload expansion. The system supports both structured and unstructured data.
Lenovo Express Solutions are prevalidated solutions for virtualization and hybrid-cloud platforms. They combine Lenovo infrastructure with major virtualization software platforms in validated configurations, simplifying the deployment process and reducing integration complexity.
The portfolio includes Microsoft Hyper-V Ready solutions and Windows Server; Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization; Microsoft Azure Local on Lenovo ThinkAgile MX V4; Lenovo ThinkSystem based on Nutanix Compute Cluster; and SUSE Virtualization on Lenovo ThinkSystem V4.
