Lenovo has announced new data storage, virtualization infrastructure, and data management services aimed at helping enterprises and mid-sized businesses modernize IT environments for enterprise applications and AI-related workloads. The announcement includes new ThinkSystem storage arrays, ThinkAgile hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platforms, and expanded hybrid cloud advisory and deployment services.
New Lenovo ThinkSystem & ThinkAgile Offerings
The new ThinkSystem DS Series storage arrays provide all-flash storage designed for virtualized environments running mission-critical workloads, with simplified deployment and management for virtualized enviroments. The ThinkAgile FX Series introduces a multi-vendor hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) appliance that supports hardware reuse across selected platforms to provide greater flexibility and investment protection.
Lenovo has also expanded the ThinkAgile MX Series to support disaggregated external Fibre Channel storage for Microsoft Azure Local deployments and introduced configurations with integrated GPU support for AI inferencing workloads. In addition, the ThinkAgile HX Series incorporates software designed to support the deployment and scaling of AI models in virtualized and containerized environments.
