Tasmanian leaders will gather at the University of Tasmania later this month for the inaugural AI Dialogue to discuss how AI is transforming the world of work and providing economic development opportunities for Tasmania.

Innovation, Science and Digital Economy Minister Madeleine Ogilvie said the AI ​​Dialogue, hosted by the University of Tasmania’s School of Business and Economics, was important in facilitating discussion of Tasmania’s digital future.

“Tasmania’s technology sector is thriving, with a strong foundation for workforce growth, revenue generation and government support, making it a key driver of the state’s economic future,” Minister Ogilvie said.
