KPMG auditors were caught using AI to cheat on tests

The most embarrassing thing about the scandal surrounding Deloitte’s use of artificial intelligence in a report to the government in August wasn’t that the company used the technology or that it was caught lying.

It wasn’t even the fact that it had to pay back part of its fee to the Ministry of Labor. It was the fact that the consultants were using AI so heavily that the report was riddled with errors.
