And now Google Chrome – by far the largest and most popular browser – has ushered in what it calls “the new era of surfing” in Australia and Asia Pacific. Starting today, Gemini AI* will be integrated into platforms like Google Search, Drive, YouTube, Calendar, Maps and more.
Instead of opening a new tab and entering all relevant information, users can now click a simple star icon in the top right corner to open a side window and chat with Google’s powerful AI assistant, Gemini 3.1.
