Kelly School Dist. implements new AI gun detection technology for extra safety

BENTON, Mo. (KFVS) – This is the second time we have spoken to Kelly District leaders about the addition of safety upgrades since August.

Now, they have added a new layer of safety, and this time, using artificial intelligence.

“We want to make sure that we get that early notification to reduce the response time for local law enforcement,” said Kelly Superintendent Dr. Brad Kolwyck.
