Junius“New single”The Oracle” has received its online debut, with a Samia ZaidiThe music video for it, which he directed, is now streaming below. The song is the second single released from the Boston metalgaze band’s first new studio album since 2017. This record was “christened”Sotera” and is scheduled to be released on June 26th via Prosthetic records. Singer/guitarist Joseph E. Martinez said:
“‘The Oracle‘ is concerned with judgments, not moral judgments, but with truth. ‘The Oracle‘ watches from above and sees civilization corrupting and moving further and further away. The video is important because we rarely put ourselves in the foreground visually. After a while it felt appropriate to physically resurface.”
