Elon Musk’s trial against Sam Altman continued on Thursday, after a day of controversy during OpenAI’s cross-examination of the Tesla CEO. Musk faced more aggressive questioning throughout the morning, giving a taste of what might await other prominent witnesses who want to take the stand.
Testimony and evidence have revealed formerly private emails, text messages and diary entries surrounding OpenAI’s founding, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the tech giant’s creation. Many of the tech industry’s most powerful players are called as witnesses and will recount the origins of the bitter feud between Musk and Altman. Altman will testify later in the trial, which will last three weeks.
