The Jets continued to add at the safety position on Friday.
The team agreed to a one-year deal with Andre Cisco, a source confirmed.
NFL Network reported the deal is worth up to $5.25 million.
Cisco started eight games for the Jets last season before a torn pectoral muscle in Week 8 ended his season.
He had 41 tackles and one fumble recovery for the Jets.
The 25-year-old spent his first four NFL seasons with the Jaguars.
It was unclear if the Jets would bring Cisco back, especially after they made some other moves at the position this week.
The Jets acquired Minkah Fitzpatrick in a trade with the Dolphins to be a starter.
They also added Dane Belton from the Giants.
The team drafted Malachi Moore last season and he started 14 games.
