Email accounts went down for thousands of Microsoft users on Thursday after an outage knocked out multiple services, including Outlook and Teams.
Reports of Microsoft 365-related outages spiked Thursday between 11 a.m. and noon on Downdetector, a site that where users can report internet and network disruptions. Microsoft confirmed the outage in a service update and said that users may be “seeing degraded service” or be “unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services.”
The company also said some users were receiving a temporary server issue error message when trying to send or receive email through Outlook accounts.
