It comes in peace? The Promise and Danger of AI for Women, Peace and Security – Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO)

25 years ago, the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda called for women’s participation in peace processes and protection from violence.

Its anniversary comes at a time of increasing global uncertainty, simmering backlash against gender equality and shrinking civic spaces. At the same time, rapid advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and cyber technologies promise to advance humanitarian response and transform our understanding of conflict.
