Study: AI has no influence on creativity.

Evan Kirstel, a tech mega-influencer, has been doing some very neat things with AI lately, placing himself among historical and current event videos in his Facebook posts. (For example, in one post: Evan introduces Apple’s technology in 1946.) Very creative indeed, but Evan already has an extremely high creativity quotient. The question is: Can AI help everyone, including left-handers, increase creativity?
AI – particularly generative AI – has the potential to “democratize” creativity. However, creative minds can benefit even more from AI. It turns out that individual differences still matter for creativity when everyone has access to the same advanced technology. This is the conclusion of a current study led by Simone Luchini and Roger Beaty from Pennsylvania State University and James C. Kaufman from the University of Connecticut.
They asked whether genAI will “democratize.”
