Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has targeted the data center and information infrastructure of US company Oracle in the United Arab Emirates, state news agency IRNA reported, but Dubai authorities denied the claim.

According to IRNA, the Revolutionary Guards said the Oracle facility in the United Arab Emirates was targeted in retaliation for the attack on former Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi and his wife.

The report came after Iranian media reported that Kharrazi was seriously injured and his wife killed in an American-Israeli attack on their home in Tehran on April 1.

Dubai denied the report.

In a statement published on US social media company X on Friday, the Dubai Media Office said the reports circulating were “fake and false”.

The region has been on alert since the US and Israel launched an air offensive on February 28 that has so far killed over 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
