Iran Names Amazon, Google, Microsoft As ‘Legitimate Targets’

Offices and infrastructure of Amazon, Google, and Microsoft have been declared
“legitimate targets” for attack by Iran’s government based on the conflict with the United States and Israel, according to media sources.

Iranian state-linked media
this week published a list of offices and infrastructure run by American companies with ties to Israel in which technology has been used for military applications.

According to
Al Jazeera, the nation’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) released a list of companies that includes Google, Microsoft, Palantir, IBM, Nvidia and Oracle. The report claims the companies are
linked to Israel and used for military events, Al Jazeera reported.

Many of these companies operate regional offices, cloud infrastructure or data centers across the Gulf, including in the
UAE. A quick search on Google suggests none have released public statements on this development.
